I recently stayed at Hotel Varja and was quite disappointed overall. While the exterior of the hotel is quite appealing and the staff was friendly, the interior needs a serious update. The rooms were not clean, and I had to ask for a fresh bath mat due to the hair that was on mine. The food was mediocre and overpriced, and I found the room rates to be steep, especially without breakfast included. It's a lovely place that could be fantastic with some renovations and better cleanliness.
